How much do I love you I'll tell you no lie
How deep is the ocean
How high is the sky
How many times a day do I think of you
How many roses are sprinkle with dew
How far would I travel to be where you are
How far is the journal from here to a star
And if I ever lost how much would I cry
How deep is the ocean
How high is the sky
I love you as deep as the ocean
I miss you as vast as the sky

Someone like Dad
Dad went home to the Lord 3 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. I miss him horribly.
My relationship with my dad was very different from my siblings' relation with him. Instead of the usual lectures or scoldings my siblings would get, dad would occasionally play checkers with me, paint with me, talk with me about religions, books he's reading, and politics. He would also share with me his problems with mom or my other siblings. Dad was my friend.
Recently, I went onto a trip and spent a lot of time with someone who looks like dad - when he has his glasses removed. I remembered how my heart jumped when I saw him for the 1st time without his glasses. This person isn't as tall or as big as dad but he is talented and gifted in his own ways - just like how dad was. Just like dad, he loves to talk and has a lot of insight about people and things. I don't see him often so whenever I do see him, I become a magnet to him. I just want to sit next to him, talk to him, share with him, stare at him or just be near him. When I must leave, I get anxious and cry as though I was leaving my own dad.
I love you my friend. Thank you for being my friend and allowing me to love you as if you are my dad. Thank you for understanding and accepting me. I hope to see you soon.
God bless you and your family & you guys are always in my prayer.

Dreams
I have been having some very strange dreams. Some I can remember as if it had really happened to me in life. Some I can't remember much except for a few very interesting fact.
It's very interesting to have dreams. Do we fall into deep sleep when we dream? Interesting.

Dr. & Mrs. Young
Mom and I met a very cute couple today at Oakland's Chinatown. We were sitting in front of the library this afternoon and we saw a very happy looking couple walking towards us.
He was holding her hand and they looked very much in love. Both were smiling when they walked towards us and sat down at the green metal bench. She was wearing a purple sweater and he was wearing a nice dark suit. I smiled at them and they smiled back. I looked at mom and we both smiled at them.
We kept smiling at them because they were so beautiful so finally they walked over and we moved over to be next to them. We said hi and we started talking. They told us that they live right at the tall building over there and they come down pretty often. They go to church and they loved to dance as well as walking around. We talked about the economy, where we'd lived, and how many languages we can speak. It was a very nice time and the conversation was very happy.
I couldn't help myself but to tell them that they looked so sweet and cute together. Mom and I also complemented on how beautiful her long hair was. Actually they both have beautiful hair. Hers was long & flowy and his was nicely trimmed - silver. Mr. Young is now 84 and I am sure Mrs. Young is somewhere up there.
A very lovely couple and a very sweet encounter. May God bless them and bless those who are blessed because of their love for one another.

Happy Father's Day
Tomorrow is Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Happy Father's Day to my Heavenly Father. And to my late father and all my guy friends who are dads out there - Happy Father's Day to all of you guys.
Received an email that an old friend has been recently diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. It's a very rare type of cancer and not much as been done or researched about gallbladder cancer. The doctor found out about it only after she had her gallbladder removed. WOW!!! Thank God for the minor surgery. She is now waiting to hear from the head oncologist of UCSF's gallbladder cancer team.
Her faith in God is strong. God has provided to her and her family so I believe He will continue to provide for my friend.
I have been going through some personal issues. Maybe this is what people called mid-life crisis.
From 0 - 21 years old: The beginner stage. Learning all the basics of life.
From 22 - 42 years old: The fine tuning stage. Continue Education in Life University. Refining all the skills learned from the beginner stage and personality fine tuning. The fine tuning continues until the day we died.
From 43 years old and on: The harvester stage. Having learned all the basics of life and have received some serious fine-tuning, the time has finally come to start living purposefully.
What's my purpose in life? What is your purpose in life?

Last Chance Lis....
What does last chance mean? Does it mean that once you missed the opportunity you will never have it again? Does it mean that there are no other chance or surprises waiting for you? Do we believe in last chance or do we have faith in God that He will provide if He wills? Do we believe in saving the best for last or just grab whatever seems reasonable or available? What about if things aren't meant to be, does it mean that there won't be anymore chances? What then?
Would last chance really be THE last chance or would this so call last chance only be one of the many hurdles we have to jump through before we reach our final destination? What about in a relationship? What is last chance?

Buddies are in town
My buddies are all in town. Hurray!!!! No need to check emails.
One of the buddies is sick. I hope he'll get well soon.
Stayed home to take care of the sick buddy so I didn't get to travel with the others. Amazingly, while worrying about the sicky, I was missing the others. Kept on thinking and wondering what the other guys were doing and even feared one of them would catch cold coz it's COLD.
Got to come up with some marketing ideas now......
